Young Leaders Serving Healthcare

Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem…He did right in the sight of the LORD and walked in all the way of his father David, nor did he turn aside to the right or to the left. (1 Kings 22:1a, 2 NLT)


The Kardía Foundation's Josiah Team is a group of young leaders who have committed themselves in community to study leadership and the principles of serving alongside Kardía's President, Dr. Jeff Russell. Striving daily to live the axiom, "Serve to lead and lead to serve," they are transformed agents of transformation.


How the Josiah Team Works

"J Team" members all are in their 20s or 30s and most are former students of Dr. Russell. They serve Kardía in a variety of roles, including prayer ministry, social media, writing, and teaching. They meet monthly to participate in studying leadership, prepping the next generation of The Kardía Foundation's leadership training, "Articulated Servant Leadership," and developing materials for healthcare ministry .
